Hey everyone, happy Friday! I'm back for another weekly blog! Do you remember in a previous blog when I talked about how I have a tendency of being late for things? Well, this day I was definitely late for breakfast, 7 am is way to early to get up when you were up until 3 am. But nonetheless I made it in time to eat a little something before we started our big adventure for the day! I'm going to start with a list of the places we ate and stopped at before we get into the fun stuff.

Happy Friday everyone! It is our weekly blog day and as I had said last week we will be talking about the third day of my Las Vegas trip. We did a lot of traveling this day but we had the most adrenaline filled day I probably have had in years. Much like last week, I am going to list the places we visited and the restaurants we ate at and talk mostly about the really fun exciting stuff! Restaurants we ate at:
All pictures are from Harrah's- Guy Fieri's El Burro Borracho Places we visited:
Alright! So let's talk about Vore! In Boulder City they have a lot of fun activities and one of them is a company called Vore. Vore is an adrenaline filled adventure. They rent out small trucks and other small vehicles for you to do jumps in and blow up and all sorts of crazy fun stuff! We actually got to ride in one of the trucks and it was so much fun! I definitely would like to go back and do it again but I'd like to drive and I would like to spend more time there. Unfortunately we all only got to go once and only for one ride around the track, but I am hooked! I loved it. I will post my video below on when I got to ride, it is a little jiggly but shows how cool it is. Across the lot from Vore is an other adrenaline filled company called Pro-Guns Vegas, these two companies are connected but they also run separately. Now I know last week I had talked about the gun range we had gone to the day before but what I liked about this range is it is all outside. What they do is they assign each group a golf cart (I got to drive!! and I didn't crash!!!) and you go through the range course which is set up much like a golf course where you have different ranges for different shooting. Such as clay shot or targeting shooting and they even have a range section where you can safely blow up objects like cars and trucks. We also got to shoot a MP5 at this range but we only shot once, we spent most of our time riding the golf carts to the different ranges. I really enjoyed the idea of this range and it definitely was nicer because it wasn't as loud as it had been in the concert building from the day before. Personally the day before had me so excited about the guns that by this point I was just over joyed about driving the golf cart.... I know I'm ridiculous. We had a pretty action packed two or three hours, but once we completed these two events we got back into our carriage and started the two-hour trek to Laughlin NV to our hotel Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort. The hotel itself was okay, it had a lot of activities in it for casino goers as well as movie theaters and restaurants, it also had a fantastic view of the Colorado River. After we were finally free, me and two of my group members decided to go down to the Loser Lounge which is a dance club in the hotel. It honestly was so much, they had a DJ and a live band that took turns back and forth. (Also they allowed smoking inside the lounge, which was interesting.) I learned how to mildly swing dance because if know me, you also know.... I am very uncoordinated and I am a terrible dancer, but I actually had a lot of fun and we stayed out way to late. But it was a blast and I'm really glad we did. Thank you all for tuning in! I'm hope you really enjoyed this. Tune in next week for the last day of my trip and the final recap of my whole experience in Las Vegas and Laughlin. Have a great weekend and here are some pictures! |
