Hey everyone, so I know I skipped out on our blog last week.... I'm sorry. But due to me skipping out I get to talk to you all about the amazing time I had in Nogales Mexico and Tucson Arizona. It was a great time. So we headed to Tucson on Thursday for our Thirsty Thursday vlog at the Sierra Bonita Vineyard wine tasting room. It was super fun. (If you'd like to watch our vlog on Youtube go to Kim Medelberg's channel.) The hotel we stayed at was TownePlace Suites by Marriot, I loved the hotel it was a great location. I loved the outdoor patio section and our room was big enough to actually be a living space (I've seen some apartments way smaller.) We woke up on Friday and headed off to Nogales Mexico. I'm telling you it is a beautiful city and it's not very hard to cross the border or walk around. I would recommend bringing a Spanish speaker with you just out of respect for the locals and so it is much easier to navigate. We had one gentleman actually tell us not to get lost, haha. We did not stray too far from the border though and after about an hour we headed back to the border and went through customs. Customs is actually really easy to get through and as long as you have all your documentation it should be no problem at all. I really recommend those of you who live close to a bordering country to visit the country because it is such a great experience to meet new people and see a different culture. I love the Mexican culture and they are some of the kindest people I have ever met, all the times I have been to Mexico have always been great experiences. Okay, lets talk about Mt. Lemmon. We went with my brother's roommates Zach and David whom are both a hoot. Not kidding those two boys crack me up. David was our honorary chauffeur and he did a really great job showing us around and stopping at beautiful photo spots. I honestly think this was one of my favorite parts of the trip because Mt. Lemmon is so beautiful and the air is so freshing. Also, I really get excited when there are trees around... and there were so many trees. AND there was snow only a little bit but it still counts! Last weekend was a blast and I'm so glad Mom and I got to go. Thank you all for reading this weeks blog and I hope you enjoy the videos I put in of the trip as well. Tune in next week for my weekly blog. Here are some more pictures, I went a little crazy at Mt. Lemmon so I hope you all like them. |
