![]() In less than a month MTS will be on the road again. This time Germany. It will be an new adventure trying to keep an 18 and 21 year old interested, amused and up when they need to be! To enjoy the most of any trip you need to have a vacation after you return and decide that you need to be sleep deficient. Ok so maybe that is just me. Going to Europe you look a day starting off. So we leave Sunday afternoon and arrive in Munich on Air Berlin Monday around lunch time. We will check out the city that afternoon and for the young ones I believe beer sampling in the city that started Oktoberfest will be on the agenda. Of coarse not to much because they will need to be up and at the train station for our day trip to Fussen and Neuschwanstein Castle – Germany's fairytale castle. You may ask why this castle looks family? It is what inspired Walt Disney! To me it is truly a sad story about King Ludwig and his castle. I will tell you more later. The next day we are off to Rothenberg. In its hay day 1250-1400 it was the trade center of the day. I am thinking the Medieval Crime and Punishment Museum for the 18 year old who like swords and such thing. On to Nuremberg where the Nuremberg Trails took place. Something for the 21 year olds WWII interest. We will finish our journey in Berlin. Of coarse pictures and commentary of the journey will be forth coming.
