Marival
Marival AZ is located in the Oro Valley outside of Tucson. It is located about 55 minutes north of the Tucson Airport with car service included too the resort. Should you wish to fly into Phoenix Sky Harbor you will be just under 2 hours.
After check-in should you wish to adjust your schedule, they have an area where the planners will come to you to make the changes. My suggestion is to plan what you would like to partake in. That way you are guaranteed the spot in the class that you would like to do. You will also receive a sleeping bag for your cell phone. Marival is a device-free retreat. For those that read on e-readers that would be you also. So remember to take a good book and feel the pages between your fingers. While there you have a wonderful selection of activities that you can do. Lectures to learn from and healthy food to eat. Enjoy your time and destress from the world around you. Should you like more information about Marival or other wellness centers give us a call.

Canyon Ranch was not what thought it would be. Once past the guard gate, I ended up in the wrong area of the resort. This gave me the change to interact with employees of the resort. I have to say that everyone I came across loved their positions.
I have to say of all the hotels, resorts, etc. that I have been in I have never experienced anything as I did at Canyon Ranch. It is the most serene place I have ever been too. Maybe I needed peace on that day. Coming from a person that does not sit still more than a few moments or while I am working. I could picture myself sitting in the serenity garden for hours. If you have met me you would question me on this. After that, I would have to try the glow yoga. Of course, I would sneak out of class before it was done because I would be the entertainment for the night! I would check out the photography hike and the bird watching. Two of my favorite hobbies. Lisa also told me about a water massage that sounded so relaxing. It has a cool name but I would not even try to guess at how to spell it. As far as the food I did see the pasta and salad bar that was on that night. Look amazing. They also had mock drinks and a light snack in the lobby area. They are also willing to take you up to Mt. Lemmon for the day hiking or if you come in the cooler season possibly skiing if there is snow. |
